TDRA Telecom Complaints: Who Qualifies and What You Get
If your telecom provider hasn't fixed your billing or service issue, learn how to escalate your complaint to the regulator.
This scheme allows you to escalate unresolved issues with your telecommunications provider to the national regulator.
Who it's for
This process is available to anyone who is a subscriber to telecom services.
What you get
If you cannot reach a resolution with your service provider regarding billing errors or issues with your service, you can use this mechanism to have the regulator review your case.
What it costs you
There is no fee to use this service. However, you must have an official reference number from your service provider to show that you have already tried to resolve the matter directly with them.
The catch to know
You cannot go straight to the regulator. You must first file a complaint with your provider and wait for at least 5 working days for them to respond before you are eligible to escalate the matter.
How to apply
- Contact your telecom provider to lodge an official complaint.
- Wait at least 5 working days for a response.
- Obtain a formal reference number for your complaint from the provider.
- Visit the official portal to submit your escalation.
