Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Registration: Who Qualifies and What You Get

Learn how to obtain your professional practice license and maintain your healthcare credentials in Saudi Arabia.

This scheme allows healthcare professionals to register officially and obtain the legal right to practice their profession within the Kingdom.

Who it's for

This registration is required for all paramedics and healthcare practitioners working in Saudi Arabia.

What you get

Once registered, you receive a professional practice license. This also gives you access to Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits, which are required to keep your professional standing.

What it costs you

There are annual fees associated with this registration, and the specific amount depends on your professional rank. To complete the process, you must provide attested copies of your educational degrees and up-to-date life support certificates (such as BLS or ACLS).

The catch to know

Your ability to renew your license through the online portal can be automatically blocked if your life support certificates (BLS/ACLS) have expired.

How to apply

  1. Gather your attested degree certificates and current life support certificates.
  2. Log in to the official professional portal.
  3. Upload your documents and pay the required annual fee based on your rank.
  4. Follow the instructions on the official portal to complete the process: https://www.scfhs.org.sa
