What you get
You will receive an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), which serves as your official certification. This certificate is valid for five years.
What it costs you
You are responsible for the cost of hiring a qualified electrician to carry out the inspection and testing of your property's electrical systems.
The catch to know
It is not enough to simply have the inspection completed; you must also provide a copy of the safety report to your tenant within 28 days of the inspection being done.
How to apply
