Akiko

Akiko, 42, Tokyo. Two kids in school. Runs the household, the bills, the school calendar, the family meal plan. Quiet kitchen, paper notebook, plum blossom on the sill.

A day in Akiko's life

06:00 to 20:00 — the rhythm her agents work to.

  1. 06:00
    Wake, prepare bento boxes
  2. 07:30
    Kids to school
  3. 09:00
    Laundry, market run
  4. 11:00
    Bills, school emails
  5. 15:15
    School pickup
  6. 17:00
    Dinner prep
  7. 20:00
    Family meal

When Akiko signs up, this rhythm fills with real events — her own calendar synced from Google or Apple, plus events her agents add (a bill review, a recital reminder, a market run when rice runs low). One view, multiple sources.

The morning briefing

What Akiko hears at the start of the day

School pickup is at 3:15 today, not 3:30 — half-day for the younger one. Mom's birthday is tomorrow. You haven't bought a gift yet. There's a 30-minute window between laundry and pickup if you want to stop by Isetan. Electricity bill is due Friday — auto-pay is on, but the amount is higher than usual (heater season). Want me to flag if it's more than 20% above last month?

Akiko's hired team

4 agents, each doing one job

Each one quietly does its part of Akiko's day. You'll see them in action on the demo dashboard.

The team behind the day

Four agents, each with one job. They work in the background and surface only what Akiko needs to see.

  • Household

Laundry, groceries, the small repairs that pile up. Notices when rice is running low or the bathroom tap is dripping again, and surfaces it the morning before it becomes a problem.

  • Bills

Tracks every bill, flags surprises, never auto-pays without asking first. If the heating bill jumps because it's December, it tells you why — not just that it's higher.

  • School updates

Reads school emails for you. Surfaces parent-teacher dates and half-day reminders, drops the school newsletter quietly into an archive you can browse later.

  • Recipes

Plans dinner around what's actually in your fridge and what the kids will eat without complaining. Suggests a 25-minute tofu curry on Tuesdays, not a 3-hour ragu on a school night.

Akiko's story

Akiko keeps a household running with a level of quiet competence that most spreadsheets fail to model. Bills, school calendars, two children's recitals, the rotating list of grocery items, her mother's birthday in a different prefecture — all of it lives in her head and a single paper notebook on the kitchen counter.

The notebook works most of the time. Sometimes a school email slips by. Once, the heating bill came in 40% above expected and she didn't catch it until February. Once, she forgot her mother's birthday by half a day and felt awful about it for a week.

GabForge gives her a small team of agents that speak Japanese the way her mother speaks it — direct, polite, no jargon. The agents read the school emails so she doesn't have to. They flag when the heating bill is suddenly weird. They remind her about her mother's birthday a week early, not the day before.

She still keeps the notebook. The notebook is sacred. The agents just stop the small things from falling through.
