⚠️The catch to know

The most important timing requirement involves paternity leave. While maternity leave is structured around the birth, the 2 weeks of paternity compensation must be taken within the first 6 months following the birth of the child. If you do not use this time within that specific window, you may lose the eligibility for that portion of the compensation.
