National Library Network: Who Qualifies and What You Get

Access a wide range of books, digital resources, and study spaces across the country through this national network.

The National Library Network provides residents with access to a vast collection of reading materials and quiet places to work or study.

Who it's for

This scheme is available to all residents within the country. Whether you are looking for a place to study or a collection to borrow, the network is open to everyone living in the area.

What you get

Members of the network receive free access to a wide variety of physical books and digital e-books. In addition to these reading materials, the network provides access to dedicated study spaces, which are useful for anyone needing a quiet environment for professional growth or personal learning.

What it costs you

There is no monetary cost to use the services provided by the network. The only requirement is to obtain a library card (Carné de biblioteca), which allows you to access the various resources and spaces available to the public.

The catch to know

While the physical library services are straightforward, there is a specific requirement for digital users. The digital e-book platform, known as eBiblio, requires a separate login to access its specific collection of digital titles.

How to apply

  1. Locate your nearest local library branch.
  2. Visit the facility in person to request your library card (Carné de biblioteca).
  3. Use your library card to access physical books and the available study spaces.
  4. Register for a separate login if you intend to use the eBiblio digital platform for e-books.
