This card is available to all residents who are officially registered in the municipal census, known as the padrón.
What you get

What it costs you
The card is free. To obtain it, you will need to provide your identification document (DNI or NIE) and official proof of your current address.
The catch to know
Simply having the card is not enough to see a doctor. You must go to your local health center (centro de salud) to complete your registration and be assigned a specific General Practitioner (GP).
