What you get
You can receive a payment roughly equal to two-thirds of your daily salary. This support can continue for up to 18 months.
What it costs you
To access this benefit, you will need to provide a note from your doctor and obtain confirmation from your employer regarding your inability to work.
The catch to know
This allowance is not for injuries or illnesses that happen because of your job. If your condition is work-related, you must look into Workers' Compensation instead.
